I want to make my husband Quiche for dinner tonight (his fav food) but I don't know any recipes off hand if you do please share them thanks it doesnt matter what kind of Quiche at all.I need some Quiche recipes?
I use 6 eggs, 1 cup diced ham, 1/2 cup shredded cheese, 1 onion diced, and i add 2 grated potato in it (one potto for each pie pan) But I don't put it in a crust. The potato sinks to the bottom and makes a bottom crust.
Salt, pepper to taste with 1-2 cup milk. I usually get 2 8';pie pans out of my recipe.
Makes a complete meal in one dish. I also serve with homemade biscuits.I need some Quiche recipes?
Broccoli Quiche
鈥?1 pie crust- pre-baked
鈥?1/2 sliced red onion, optional
鈥?1 clove garlic, minced
鈥?2/3 cup broccoli florets, blanched and drained
鈥?3/4 cup grated swiss cheese
鈥?3 large eggs, slightly beaten
鈥?1 1/2 cups half-and-half
鈥?1/2 teaspoon salt
鈥?1/4 teaspoon pepper
鈥?1 pinch ground nutmeg
Directions
1. Brush frozen crust with egg yolk and prick thoroughly with a fork.
2. Prebake according to package instructions.
3. Saut茅 the onion and garlic in olive oil until soft.
4. Mix the eggs, half and half, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
5. Spread the onion, broccoli, and cheese on the bottom of the pie crust.
6. Pour in the egg mixture.
7. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes, or until set and browned.
i get the store bought crust because its easy, (cook up bacon and onions, set aside) line the whole bottom with swiss cheese, beat 6-8 eggs (depending on pie size) with a little milk pour into pie pan...add spinach and bacon/onion. put more swiss on top, bake until firm (325 F for about 45 minutes).
thats just from my head, but quiche is really easy!
can also use: ham/broccoli instead of bacon spinach
I am going to send you to my website that has several breakfast egg casserole recipes as well as a recipe for quiche Lorraine. The ham / Egg bake is wonderful, but no crust like with quiche. Enjoy!
