Do you know a great quiche recipe?

Hello I would like to make a quiche for dinner sometime.

vegetable or ham preferred...

Anyone have a great easy recipe?Do you know a great quiche recipe?
I have a very easy recipe. 1 unbaked pie crust, deep dish. Blind bake pie crust for about 5 minutes at 400 or brush with oil before adding filling to keep crust from being soggy. I have better luck blind baking.

Mix 4 eggs, 2 cups evaporated milk, 1/3 c flour and whisk until flour is incorporated. Add salt and pepper as desired.

Put any fillings in the pie crust - i most commonly use chopped broccoli and ham. Sprinkle 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese on fillings and then pour egg mixture over the top. It will be very full. sprinkle about 1/2 c shredded cheddar over top and bake at 350 degrees for about 55 minutes. In case of run overs, I usually put mine on a cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil to catch any mess. Knife inserted in middle will come out clean. If crust starts to brown too much, cover crust edges with aluminum foil.

Many recipes call for regular milk, but I find that the evaporated milk gives it a richer taste (but also more calories).Do you know a great quiche recipe?
Great recipe and easy.

Hope it turns out excellent! Report Abuse

Quiche is very calorie intensive because of the cheese. Alighter, more economical dish is the Bisquick Impossible pies. The spinach/Swiss cheese is wonderful.
